Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes how Tatem Media & Medicine, LLC handles consumer health data, as that term is defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act and the Nevada consumer health data law. It applies in addition to our general Privacy Policy.

Categories of consumer health data we collect

We do not request or knowingly collect information about your health conditions, diagnoses, medications, treatments, test results, or bodily functions. We may collect information from which an inference about your interest in a health topic could be drawn, specifically:

  • The fact that you subscribed to a newsletter concerning men's health, hormone therapy, or peptide therapy
  • The specific educational material you requested or downloaded
  • Pages you viewed on the Site and links you clicked in our emails, where those pages or links concern a specific health topic

All of the above is collected directly from you, through your interactions with the Site and our email messages.

Purposes of collection and use

We use this information to deliver the content you requested, to respond to your inquiries, and to understand in aggregate which topics our audience finds useful so we can produce better content. We do not use it to make any decision about you.

Categories we share, and with whom

We share the above with the service providers necessary to deliver our content and operate the Site, specifically our website host (Vercel), our email service provider (Resend), and our analytics provider (Vercel Analytics).

Affiliates with access

Tatem Media & Medicine, LLC has no affiliates or subsidiaries with access to consumer health data.

We do not sell consumer health data

We have not sold consumer health data and will not do so. Any sale would require your separate written authorization.

We do not use geofencing

We do not operate any geofence around any facility that provides in-person health care services.

Your rights

You have the right to confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; to access that data, including a list of third parties with whom we have shared it; to withdraw consent to our collection and sharing of it; and to have it deleted, including by our service providers. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

How to exercise them

Email admin@dralextatem.com with "Consumer Health Data Request" in the subject line, or write to Tatem Media & Medicine, LLC, 8520 Allison Pointe Blvd, Ste 223 PMB 916442, Indianapolis, IN 46250-4299. We will verify your identity by confirming control of the email address associated with your information and respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary.

If we deny your request, we will explain why and how to appeal. If we deny your appeal, you may file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General.

Changes

We will not collect, use, or share consumer health data for any purpose not described in this Policy without first disclosing the new purpose and obtaining your affirmative consent.
